There are some dolls we just can’t fix. Spirits too attached to their object, not willing to be released. And for good reason. This wooden doll once belonged to a young girl who drowned in her bathtub, while her babysitter snuck kisses on the couch from a notgoodenough boyfriend, forgetting that three-year-olds should not be left alone in deep tubs.
Our sister Tabea keeps watch over this haunted doll*, as a caregiver of sorts. We feel she must remain near water, in a home with young children so she can protect them from falling in…her spirit is watchful, shy and safe.
